John Myers attended undergraduate school at Vanderbilt University (B.E.M.E. 1968), the University of New Mexico Law School (J.D. summa cum laude 1974), and Harvard Law School (L.L.M. in Taxation and Property law, with honors, 1975). From January 1, 1977 until July, 1979, Mr. Myers was the director of the City of Albuquerque Legal Department, Real Estate Division. Since 1979, he has been in private practice, principally as a transactional lawyer, involving financing, sale, purchase, leasing and development of commercial real estate. He has a particular emphasis on land use and real estate development matters. Mr. Myers is an adjunct professor of property law at the University of New Mexico law school. Mr. Myers has served as the President of the Albuquerque Bar Association. He has been named in Best Lawyers in America since 1987, has been named as one of the leading real estate lawyers in New Mexico by the Chambers USA publication since 2003, and has been named as one of the top 25 lawyers in New Mexico by the Southwest Super Lawyers publication. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Brown University in 1982 (B.A.).
